intensification of the city / towards to compact city

The design uses an exact methodology given by the context of the environment, solar exposure and contemporary architecture and urbanism discourse. This methodology follows the development of urbanism represented by personalities such as Kevin Lynch, Frei Otto, P. Schumacher and others. The accuracy and scientific accuracy of the system discovers and subsequently demonstrates the qualities in areas that are hidden by analogy. Thanks to this methodology wedges to the Riviera appear, which, especially in the case of Lipová Street, respond to the morphology of the terrain above the Riviera.

The drama of the morphology is thus properly rewritten into the park layout, which creates a pleasant buffer zone between the city and the exhibition grounds. The irregularity of the structure is not random, but an analytical result of the real situation. The degree of irregularity can be controlled in the same way as the degree of optimization of network smoothing. The river meander, the shape and topology of the land and the transport network - all these inputs are simultaneously examined by a digital model. It is not a data collage, but a complex system that correlates itself. The basic design principle is the bottom up system.

The connection is based on the closest points. From each building we look for (3,5,8) closest neighbors to create a linear network. Thanks to it we can see how the structure of the city is connected or not.

Entrances - create a secondary network of entrances to buildings and areas. By optimizing them with a smooth network, we achieve an efficient and natural compact city structure.

Vista - Visual connection of urban structure nodes helps orientation, user movement and preserves valuable axes. The implementation of vista beams defines the creation of a basic volume structure.
